RGN Pro Series NA reaches playoffs

The RGN Pro Series North American division group stage concludes, and eight teams advance to the $10,000 playoffs.

The results are in for the RGN Pro Series North American division and for the most part, favoured teams are advancing to the playoffs of the $10,000 league.

Group D was perhaps the biggest surprise of the Pro Series, with Spencer "⁠Hiko⁠" Martin and the rest of Nihilum falling in their group, which required an extra tiebreaker stage in the end. In particular, SKDC were the dark horse of the group and managed to defeat both Nihilum and Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo's Keyd Stars.


Keyd Stars made it the playoffs by the skin of their teeth

The final group standings can be seen here. The playoffs will run in a double elimination, best-of-three format. Advancing teams include:

As previously mentioned, the top five teams from both the NA & EU Pro Series will advance to the $30,000 offline championship. The first game of the playoffs begins tonight with Luminosity taking on Keyd Stars.
